Château du Moulin-à-Vent – La Rochelle 2020 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is elegant, aromatic, complex and complete. There are notes of wild blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of fresh pepper and slight hints of « sense of place », slight hints of moka, a small power, a discreet herbs side in the background (Mediterranean influence). The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, a slight tension, precision and minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, violet and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of juicy/ fresh blue blackberry, pulpy cherry as well as slight hints of sage, cardamom and discreet hints of toasted almond/ torrefaction and a discreet almost sappy in the background. Good length. Beautiful suave and sapid finish.
