Château du Glana 2024 – Saint-Julien

The nose presents a certain straightness and offers a frank, stretched side. It reveals notes of blackberry, clove and small notes of pulpy strawberry, associated with touches of tobacco, cornflower, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, a discreet hint of lilac and cardamom. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral and offers a certain fatness and fine fluidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of racy minerality, as well as hints of tobacco, nutmeg, gruée, toasted hazelnut and a hint of chocolate. Good freshness and minerality. A hint of cocoa bitterness on the persistence.
