The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers intensity, concentration as well as a fine richness. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, bigarreau cherry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of liquorice, pepper, violet as well as hints of redcurrant jam, very fine hints of cardamom and an imperceptible saline hint (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, very discreetly tight and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, a small concentration, a very fine freshness and a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe bigarreau cherry, small ripe/juicy black fruits, small notes of crushed blueberry associated with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of laurel berries, liquorice, chocolate, a very discreet hint of vanilla and granit. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
