Château du Breuil – Fine Calvados – Calvados Pays d’Auge

Château du Breuil – Fine Calvados – Calvados Pays d’Auge

(40%) The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a fine freshness, a certain aromatic purity as well as a controlled power. It reveals notes of bright yellow apple, juicy pear and small notes of green apple associated with small touches of pear blossom and an imperceptible almost lemon hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, a small fat, a certain roundness, fleshiness, a good guideline, a good precision as well as a grain reminiscent of very ripe pear. On the palate this Calvados expresses notes of fairly ripe / juicy Williams pear, yellow apple cooked in butter and small notes of pear blossoms associated with fine hints almost pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of sweet spices. Good length.
