CHÂTEAU DOYAC 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is elegant and aromatic, with a lovely substance, a lovely velvety texture, even finely creamy. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, bright wild strawberry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of bright little red berries, as well as a hint of pepper, nutmeg and discreet hints of lilac, smoke and eucalyptus in the background. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant, racy, with a tangy frame, tension, precision, an airy side, beautifully fine, defined and delicate in its grain. It expresses notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of bright raspberry, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, chocolate as well as hints of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. Good length. Nicely fresh and gourmand. A wine with good volume in the mouth, a beautiful substance and persistence.
