(Organic) The nose is precise, racy and offers a certain power. There are notes of blackberry, wild berries and, more slightly, violets, combined with hints of nutmeg, spice and a subtle touch of camphor, bergamot and vanilla. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight (at present) and offers minerality, good definition, accuracy and precision. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic cherry, crunchy red berry and more slightly blackcurrant notes combined with hints of violet, bergamot, nutmeg as well as fine points of fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla in the background. The tannins are well-managed. Good length. A nice acidic/gourmet finish.
