The nose is fruity and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, raspberry and small berries associated with fine hints of liquorice, violet, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg/gray pepper (in the background). This wine should be carafed. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fine straightness/tension as well as a fine acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and more slightly fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine hints of toasted, chocolate/cardamom and a discreet hint of almond. Tannins are well-built.
