The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice acid frame, a nice minerality, gourmandise, fat as well as a slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, ripe strawberry and slight notes of crushed cherry associated with a touch of blackberry, slight notes of chocolate, caramelized oak as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and a discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
