The palate is fruity, structured and offers juiciness, gourmandize as well as suavity, freshness, a bright fruit, tension and a slightly tight/dry tannic frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of Boysen berry, vanilla as well as hints of coffee, chocolate and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are slightly marked/dry. A powerful persistence.
