Château Dompierre 2022 – Pauillac

The nose is fruity, with good expression and definition, fruit, concentration and depth. It reveals notes of bright cherry, brilliant cassis and small notes of violet, associated with touches of rhubarb, as well as discreet notes of cherry blossom, lily and fine hints of tobacco, smoke, saline gravel and sweet spices. The palate is well-built, supple, racy, fresh, with brightness, juiciness, gourmandise, a tangy frame, lovely brilliance and definition of fruit. It expresses notes of brilliant cassis, brilliant red cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of violet, blackberry, as well as discreet hints of licorice stick, sweet pepper and a subtle hint of cinnamon and sweet roasting. Good length. A hint of cocoa with a nice play on good bitters. A nicely juicy, fresh, mineral wine.
