Château Doisy Daëne 2024 – Sauternes, Cru Classé

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a certain citrus brightness, with a racy, mineral and deep side. It reveals notes of candied lime, candied kumquat and small notes of crunchy green peach, associated with touches of fresh green almond, as well as hints of small yellow fruits, fine hints of warm acacia, verbena and a hint of fresh spices. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh and mineral. It offers a fresh frame, acidity, suppleness, definition, purity and a melodious side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh apricot, candied mandarin and small notes of candied quince, combined with touches of lychee, lilac, as well as fine hints of candied brugnon and a subtle touch of almost honeyed, even vanilla. Good length. A wine offering acidity, a lovely racy side and a fine, finely vinous side on the finish.
