Château Doisy Daëne 2022 – Barsac, Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes

The nose is elegant, fruity and delicate. It reveals notes of candied peach, crushed apricot and small notes of small fruits in syrup associated with discreet hints of sap, a subtle hint of raisin and fine hints of fresh candied ginger. The palate is beautifully built, supple, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, airy and offers a fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied ginger, candied peach and small notes of lychee in syrup associated with touches of roasted pineapple, fine hints of small fruits in syrup as well as a subtle hint of lemon blossom, verbena, fine hints of fresh honey, flowers and a very discreet almost gingerbread hint (in the background). Good length. A beautiful creamy and gourmand matter.
