The nose is nicely fresh and shows delicacy and mastery. There are notes of fresh tangerine, kumquat and, more slightly, quince, combined with touches of crushed yellow fruit, as well as hints of dried apricot, a subtle hint of fresh bean/racy minerality and a very discreet hint of roasted pineapple. The palate is fruity and demonstrates freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a nice acidic backbone, energy and crunch. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of apple in syrup, crystallised lemon and, more slightly, tangerine, combined with hints of cape gooseberry, dried apricot, a subtle hint of honey, roasted pineapple and a very discreet touch of nutmeg. Good length. Nice acidity and a floral, almost pine needle-like finish/persistence.
