Château Doisy Daëne 2019 – Barsac, Cru Classé de Sauternes

The nose is racy, mineral, elegant and offers power well-mastered / in measure. It reveals notes of quince, lemon and small notes of juicy / tangy vine peach associated with small touches of pineapple, fresh mango as well as hints of beeswax, saffron and a discreet hint of ginger. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, juiciness, a beautiful acidulous frame, gourmandize, freshness, a nice racy minerality, tension as well as a certain purity in the aroma. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / acidulous apple, nectarine and small notes of fresh mango associated with touches of dry / acidulous apricot, quince, hints of white flowers, almost saline minerality as well as fine hints of pâtisseries, a subtle hint of saffron and almond. Sapidity on the finish.
