The nose is aromatic, delicate, complex and offers spiciness, a fine intensity, a nice grain as well as a voluptuousness in its aroma. It reveals notes of mirabelle plum, jammy quince and small notes of raisin associated with touches of fresh marmalade, candied apple, hints of pastries, almond as well as an imperceptible almost malty hint with a touch of fresh date (in the background). The mouth is well-built, elegant, delicate and offers juiciness, a nice energy, a very nice “dynamic / sharp” acidity, tension as well as accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of jammy quince, crystallized orange and small notes of roasted berries associated with touches of roasted pineapple, tarte tatin as well as fine hints of almond, mango, racy minerality as well as delicate hints of brioche/pastries, of honey and a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut. Sapidity at the end of the mouth. Good length.
