The wine is closed at the beginning and requires aeration. Then, it first expresses floral and herbaceous aromas (violet, iris, wild mint, rosemary), a tangy fruity side (red cherry, raspberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant), a hint of liquorice, vanilla in the background, cocoa nibs and toast. The palate offers accuracy, juiciness and a fruity and tangy attack (red cherry, raspberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant) and then complemented by notes of liquorice and toast in the mid-palate. The tannins are very fine and polished. The finish offers a good bitterness of chocolate and coffee with a smoky hint. The acidity is salivating, good persistence in the mouth. A pleasant, airy and juicy wine.
