The nose offers some power, good definition, harmony and some intensity and finesse. There are notes of morello cherry, violet and slightly crushed currant combined with hints of violet plum and hints of blueberry, racy minerality and liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, fine straightness, good structure and an acidic frame. On the palate this wine expresses fresh blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly crunchy red berry notes with hints of violet, blueberry, chocolate and fine vanilla. The tannins are relatively soft. Good length. Some chewiness and gourmandise on the finish.
