The nose is fruity and reveals a fine power, a certain generosity/pulpiness of fruit. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, violet and more slightly crushed cherry combined with fine touches of pulpy blackcurrant and discreet pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness/minerality, good definition, fine volume, and a fine acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet, blueberry, as well as fine hints of crushed raspberry, a discreet hint of nutmeg, sweet blond tobacco, racy minerality, and a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). A discreet hint of toasted almond and a very fine chewiness on the finish.
