The nose is pretty, elegant, harmonious, deep, with a fine hint of austerity, powerful and delicate. We find notes of boysenberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly, small brilliant/bright red fruit, associated with a touch of cassis as well as a hint of sweet tobacco and nutmeg/sweet spices. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity and balanced, with a mineral frame, freshness, acidity, nicely energy, delicacy and harmonious, racy power. On the palate, we perceive notes of crushed raspberry, bright redcurrant and cassis associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, a hint of salt, as well as fine hints of blond tobacco and cinnamon, and beautiful touches of bourbon vanilla. Tannins are creamy and tasty. Good persistence.
