The nose is aromatic and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of boysenberry, licorice, strawberry and blueberry associated with a hint of cornflower, spices, cardamom as well as an imperceptible touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh cassis and wild strawberry combined with a touch of fresh raspberry, subtle hints of liquorice, Bourbon vanilla and chocolate on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Good (and gourmandise) persistence.
