Château Devise d’Ardilley 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity, tangy and offers intensity in its fruit and freshness. There are notes of crunchy cherry, raspberry and, more slightly, juicy blueberry, combined with hints of blueberry, pulpy blackcurrant, as well as fine hints of liquorice, cardamom, discreet hints of violet and a subtle touch of zan. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain crunchiness, freshness, straightness, a certain purity of fruit as well as an acidic frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy blueberry and more slightly fleshy/pulpy raspberry combined with touches of crunchy redcurrant and hints of liquorice, chocolate and vanilla/toast.
