Château Desmirail 2024 – Margaux

The nose is frank, precise, textured, it offers a discreet chalky side, ripe, fleshy fruit, a few spices and a fine toasty. It reveals notes of infusion, sage, fresh hazelnut, hints of fleshy strawberry, crushed raspberry, as well as notes of cornflower. The palate is fresh, mineral, it offers a juicy/tangy frame, brightness and gourmandise. It also presents tension, good definition, frank, racy and focused. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, raspberry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of juicy cassis, a hint of star anise, as well as a hint of bergamot and racy minerality. Good length. A wine offering freshness and brightness. The tannins are sappy, gourmand and juicy.
