Château Desmirail 2021 – Margaux 3ème Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers elegance, a certain intensity in finesse, racy power and a very fine and discreetly dusty grain. There are notes of pulpy wild strawberry, blackberry and, more slightly, fresh red berries combined with hints of lilac, fresh nutmeg and a discreet hint of vanilla and an imperceptible touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, freshness, a certain roundness and volume. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, fresh strawberry and slightly blackberry, combined with hints of violet, fresh flowers, racy minerality, fine chocolate/tonka bean, cardamom, salinity and a discreet hint of varietal and toasted hazelnut. A subtle hint of roast in the background. Harmonious.
