The nose is fruity, with brilliance, a certain relief, depth and elegant concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and small fresh red fruits, associated with touches of violet, cornflower and hints of brilliant, fairly ripe red cherry, as well as fine hints of tobacco, sweet spices and a subtle hint of almost sappy in the background. The palate is well-built, with freshness, tension and juiciness. It also offers acidity, good definition, gourmandise, accuracy precision and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, and more lightly fleshy cherry, combined with a touch of plum and bright cornflower, touches of toast, tonka bean, as well as hints of nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Good definition, chewy and gourmandise. Blueberry brightness, with a hint of roasting/cocoa nib. Iodized, gourmand persistence.
