Château des Laurets 2020, Puisseguin Saint-Emilion 

On the nose, fruity and offers a little concentration, a fine power as well as a certain elegance and fine texture. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, small black berries and slightly zan associated with a touch of violet, strawberry and fine spices and a discreet touch of clove. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, pulpiness, a delicious fruit and a fine acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, tart/pulpy plum and more slightly juicy blackcurrant combined with hints of pulpy/juicy raspberry, violet as well as wafts of fresh blond tobacco, nutmeg and a discreet touch of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are massive and relatively polished. Fine power on the finish/persistence.
