Château des Jacques – Les Thorins 2022 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is fresh, beautifully racy and offers a fine crunchiness. There are notes of fresh small red fruits, fresh blue plum and small notes of pulpy small fruits associated with delicate touches of flowers and slight hints of cherry pit and a discreet hint of liquorice. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, tension, precision, an acidulous frame, minerality, suppleness, elegance, a melodious side as well as a beautiful mineral. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy black cherry, juicy/ fresh small red fruits and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of liquorice, toast, chocolate as well slight hints of smoke. Good length. Supple and suave tannins. Sapidity and a beautiful small chew on the finish/ persistence. Deepness on the mouth. Harmony and an almost very discreet Mediterranean influence in the background. Beautifully harmony.
