Beautiful gourmand, complex nose that offers a small unctuosity/ richness and a texture. There are notes of creamy notes, crushed raspberry and small notes of star anise, associated with touches of Madagascar pepper, Bourbon vanilla, bright small fruits (sometimes discreetly roasted) and slight hints of toasted hazelnut and warm sap. The mouth is beautifully fruity, juicy, gourmand, textured and offers a beautiful grain, a beautiful tannic frame, an acidulous frame, tension, elegance, a beautiful matter, a certain richness/ unctuosity ( without any heaviness). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy/ fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh/ pulpy purple plum associated with touches of crushed cherry as well as hints of chocolate, toast and slight hints of roasted, nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Slight chewiness on the finish and a beautiful work in the good bitterness.
