The wine has a beautiful, intense ruby color. The nose is slightly closed, fruity with notes of black cherry and spice. There is a light touch of toast. The second nose opens with more intensity and still a saline side. There are small, crisp black forest fruits. The palate is fresh, round on the attack with a lovely note of cherry brandy. There is a hint of wood and coffee. The tannins are present, persisting until the finish. There is suppleness in the mid-palate. The end of the tasting has a hint of caramel and black fruits.
