The nose offers power and roundness. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of grey pepper, small fresh fruits and a subtle hint of leather, pepper and coffee. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, a fine tension as well as precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy raspberry and small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of liquorice, leather and very discreet hints of spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
