The nose is fruity and offers elegance, a fine concentration and a fine richness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and flowers (violet / cornflower) combined with touches of butter, strawberry, red berries as well as small touches of vanilla / caramelized oak and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, freshness, a slight / discreet acidity (in the background), finesse, a fine straightness, suavity, harmony and gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and fleshy strawberry combined with fine hints of red berries / redcurrants, black olive, chocolate and vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built / elegant. Good length. (2019+)
