Château Des Demoiselles 2020 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain intensity and a small power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small black berries, small notes of bright redcurrant associated with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of pepper, black tea, mocha/cocoa and a discreet hint of grilled hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandize, an acidulous frame, a small tension, concentration, justness, control and a small powdery side of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, small black berries, small notes of cornflower associated with touches f blackberry, crushed redcurrant as well as hints of green cardamom, chocolate, fine hints of toasted. Tannins are precise and well-built. A fine softness, a fine sapidity in the finish/persistence.
