Château des Annereaux 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity and offers a good definition, a small concentration as well as a certain power. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, wild strawberry, small notes of wild blackberry associated with small touches of small bright black fruits, liquorish, sweet spices, a discreet hint of varietal as well as a subtle hint of toasted. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, a good definition, gourmandize, a certain tension, juiciness, and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small notes of bright black berries, small notes of violet associated with touches of cherry core, red currants as well as fine hints of lily, zan/blond tabaco and fine hints of toasted. Good length. The tannins are precis and finely firm. Good length. A very fine chew in the finish/persistence.
