The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry, crushed blackberry and small touches of fleshy/fresh raspberry associated with fine/discreet touches of pepper, graphite, spices as well as a subtle hint of caramelization and very discreet touches of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good freshness, a good definition, suavity as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly cassis, fresh strawberry associated with small touches of toasted oak/chocolate, fine touches of cocoa, roasted almond as well as a subtle hint of liquorice candy and cornflower (in the background). Tannins are fine, straight and slightly firm.
