Château de Taillan 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is elegant, juicy, with a certain concentration, a refined floral bouquet (violet, iris, peony), a hint of balsamic, juicy and ripe fruits (morello cherry, red plum, black plum, raspberry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant), a delicate woody and spicy nuance (coffee, cocoa nibs, liquorice, nutmeg). The palate is fruity (morello cherry, red plum, black plum, raspberry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant), with a good bitterness of wild cherry and coffee. Good persistence on dried mint and a savoury toasted and spicy touch (coffee, cocoa, liquorice, nutmeg). The acidity is salivating and fresh, with well-built and fine tannins, a little grippy.
