The nose is elegantly fruity with depth and an intense, fine and taut grain. There is some stretchiness with notes of nutmeg, morello cherries and lighter roasted red berries associated with hints of blue berries, lily, star anise and a discreet hint of gray pepper and a subtle hint of almost vanilla. The palate is mineral with freshness and accuracy. It has a tangy frame with some strechiness and precision. There are notes of juicy fresh blackberries, raspberries and then small notes of roasted red berries associated with a touch of fresh bramble as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean, cardamom and a note of dried almond. It is a wine with tension and precise and taut tannins. It needs time to take his place. There is a good job on the bitters.
