On the nose, fruity with a fine freshness, a little minerality and a lingering finish. It reveals notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant and hints of violet associated with small touches of strawberry, graphite, gray pepper, discreet wafts of incense and a subtle touch of tonka bean. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, minerality, and a certain gourmandize. The wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, blackcurrant and subtly ripe strawberry notes with floral nuances, hints of tonka bean, sweet spices and fine toasted hazelnut. The tannins are precise and well balanced. Good length.
