Château de Riquewihr – Les Murailles 2011 Riesling – Alsace

The nose is fruity, aromatic, fresh and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of crushed peach and slight notes of pear, fresh lemon associated with a hint of zests as well as a discreet hint of kumquat and slight touches of minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand, suave, well-built, elegant and offers a beautiful minerality, a beautiful definition as well as dynamism. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe peach and slight notes of quenette, litchi associated with discreet hints of kumquat, crushed mandarin as well as a subtle hint of green lemon.
