The nose is aromatic, racy, very slightly tight and offers a small concentration as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of wild red berries associated with small hints of spices, vanilla, cardamom, tea as well as a very discreet hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of liquorice stick (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, suavity, minerality (racy minerality), a fine acidulous frame, gourmande, a fine tension as well as a very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of juicy / crunchy red berries associated with touches of flowers, slight toasted hints, chocolate as well as discreet hints of spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. There are discreet hints of lily, liquorice stick and black tea on the finish.
