The nose is fruity, concentrated and offers notes of ripe black fruit (black cherry, ripe cassis), roasted, woody and a hint of licorice. The palate is velvety, fresh, well built, and has a nice smooth material. It reveals aromas of ripe black fruit (plum, cassis, blackberry, blueberry) associated with notes of raspberry and lighter leather and spices. Also some toasty finish. The tannins are fine but slightly firm. The finish is nicely fruity.
