Château de Reignac 2024 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, frank, intense and offers freshness and a certain concentration/richness of aromatic. There are notes of small fresh/bright red fruits, violet and bright cassis, associated with touches of lilac, juicy blackberry, bright violet plum, as well as hints of nutmeg and a hint of delicate toasted. The palate is well-built, juicy, supple, fresh, mineral, airy and offers gourmandise, a certain fleshiness of fruit, a tangy frame, aromatic depth and a silky/juicy/”sexy” mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small bright red fruits, hints of lilac, star anise, peony, cherry blossom, as well as a hint of toastiness, vanilla and tonka bean. Freshness and gourmandise to the tannins. A discreet sappy side in the background, like guideline.
