Château de Pressac 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of vanilla, cornflower associated with touches of red fruits, crunchy small berries as well as a subtle hint of lilac, Cuben pepper and very fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous/fresh frame, a good definition, gourmandize, a good finesse of the grain as well as a fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis ans small notes of red berries/fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with small touches fo violet, black cherry as well as subtle hints of liquorice, sugared tobacco from Virginia, chocolate and caramelization. Tannins are elegant, fine and structuring. Good length.
