Château de Portets Blanc 2021 – Graves

The nose is fresh and racy. There are notes of fresh apple, fresh/juicy peach and more lightly citrus fruits combined with fine touches of fresh lychee, a subtle mineral/gravelly touch, lemon blossom and a discreet hint of verbena and a very discreet touch of zest. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, roundness, some volume, a mineral backbone and suppleness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apple, fresh/chunky nectarine and, more slightly, fresh lemon, combined with delicate touches of fresh/juicy citrus fruit, as well as fine nuances of white flowers and a subtle hint of verbena.
