The nose is smoky, elegant, with power in accuracy, a lovely, elegant, fine, powerful and airy grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of pulpy/fleshy cherry, associated with delicate hints of violet, infusion and a lovely array of spices. Depth and subtlety. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, with minerality, a fresh frame, tension, precision, a chiselled, crystalline side and a lovely finesse and delicacy in its fatness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small red fruits, almost roasted-elegant, as well as hints of licorice stick, blond tobacco, cardamom and a hint of clove. Good length. An elegant wine with lovely mellow tannins. A discreet, very finely powdery side on the palate.
