The nose offers a fine grain, a fine concentration and power. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackcurrant, wild raspberry and small notes of small berries associated with touches of hot gravels, spices and a discreet hint of iris and liquorice. The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good definition and a racy minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy raspberry, juicy blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of small berries, iris as well as discreet hints of toasted, grilled and black pepper. Tannins are structuring.
