The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is fresh and expresses aromas of tart red cherry, blueberry, raspberry, black plum, red plum and morello cherry. There are also notes of menthol, blackcurrant leaf, cocoa and white pepper in the background. In the mouth, the wine is firm, on the astringency of tannins of a young Madiran. In the mid-palate, the wine expresses notes of tart black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry), prunes, peppermint, cloves and nutmeg. The tannins are tight, with bitterness that is also found on the finish. The finish is fresh thanks to lively acidity. A structured wine, but closed and reserved for the moment.
