The wine shows a bright straw colour with a golden hue. The nose is slightly smoky and reductive initially, needs some air. It opens up with notes of pineapples, a touch of yellow apple and pear, nuances of citrus fruits and mineral underpinnings. The palate is smooth and round, rather creamy, revealing zesty, citrusy acidity and a chalky texture. There are notes of ripe orchard and tropical fruits supported by pleasant smokiness. The finish is not too long but pleasant and gourmet.
