Château de Panigon 2024 – Médoc

The nose is reserved, toasted and finely spiced at the beginning (coffee, toasted hazelnut, pepper liquorice), then we find notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry, a hint of violet, pine needles. The palate is tight, chiseled, with notes of tangy red and black fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry, wild cherry, plus cranberries, raspberry), good bitterness, herbaceous side (dried mint, dried pine needles), violet. The finish is quite persistent, toasted (toasted hazelnut, wood), slightly bitter. The acidity is salivating.
