The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a nice racy minerality as well as a fine airy and stretched side. We find notes of small black berries, fresh blond tobacco and slight notes of cardamom associated with touches of racy minerality, small dense fruits (but fresh as well as discreet iodine hints, subtle almost roasted hints and with a subtle hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, a nice richness, gourmandise, tension, precision, a little flattering side, a beautiful freshness as well as a tangy frame . On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/bright violet plum and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small, bright red fruits, a hint of roast, gravelly minerality, iodine as well as ‘with a subtle hint of bergamot and vanilla. A subtle hint of good bitterness and a very discreet sappy hint (in the background) on the finish/persistence.
