The nose is mineral, racy, frank and offers a fine racy power. It reveals notes of candied nectarine, kumquat and small notes of crystallized mandarin associated with touches of passerillage, fine hints of spices, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of toasted/honeyed almond. The palate is beautifully built, supple, precise, fresh, elegant, airy, deep and stretched. Full of accuracy and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of verbena, stewed flat peach and small notes of candied pear associated with touches of kumquat, racy minerality (terroir) as well as hints of candied ginger, crushed exotic fruits, a hint of marmalade and crushed almond. Good length. A hint of orange blossom/dried apricot in the background. Good persistence.
