The nose is spicy, racy and offers a little power as well as depth. We find notes of fresh kumquat, fresh nutmeg and more slightly small bright yellow fruits associated with small touches of fresh pepper, small roasted fruits as well as a hint of saffron (on its flowery side), honey fresh, acacia and toasted. The palate is fruity, nicely juicy, tangy and offers deliciousness, a lovely freshness, tension, a certain straightness, a lovely energy, roundness/sweetness with finesse as well as sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy yellow apple, bright yellow peach and more slightly crystallized mandarin associated with touches of racy minerality, fresh zest, crunchy apple as well as fine hints of salinity, nutmeg and spices. Beautiful sapid and gourmand persistence.
